HPG: Not a single attack will remain unanswered!
Celebrating the August 15 with a written statement released, People’s Defence Forces (HPG) Headquarters described August 15 as the “National Resurgence Day". For the August 15 of 2011, HPG headquarters said; “victory determination of Revolutionary People's War”.
At the 27th anniversary of the ‘first bullet’, HPG Headquarters remarked that they will respond to the dictates of the fascist government with Revolutionary People's War. “Even a single attack against ‘a single Kurd’ will certainly not remain unanswered”.
HPG’s statement is as follows;
"August 15 Advance is to be considered today not only as the miraculous day of Kurds resurgence, but also as the day of creating the freedom of the peoples against all colonialist and fascist dictatorships. Kurdistan mountains have now turned into a position of a castle for all Turkish revolutionaries and organizations against exploitation.
Not any power has a potential to resist against the guerilla style and tactics created by our brave leading commander Agit comrade who is the planner and executor of 15 August. Those to attempt to attacks us need to know that they will encounter only defeat, which is the only option offered to them by the history. As the guerilla movement basing on his guerilla-tactics, we will no doubt display a most terrifying resistance against all kinds of reactionary alliance and attacks. As long as the way isn’t opened to a free life for Leader Ocalan, Revolutionary People's War will make life unbearable for all colonialist, fascist and slaughterers and their collaborators.
"In this sense, as HPG guerrillas, at the twenty-seventh year of 15 August, our first mission will be to defeat all kinds of attacks against the Kurdish people and their achievements and to defend the democratic autonomy.
On the occasion of 15 August; in such an important and historical period, we are calling on all the Kurdish people and youth to be worthy of their tasks by feeling the bitterness of the struggle. We are calling on the Kurdish youth, who follow the way of Mustafas, Evrims and Müslüm Doðan’s to Kurdistan mountains, to the guerilla.
We have a complete belief that that we will win the freedom of the peoples of Kurdistan and the region and create free tomorrows with Leader Apo. As the HPG, in the way of our martyrs, we renew our promise to adopt the tasks that the history has commanded us and we wish auspicious 15 August, the National Resurgence Day, to Leader Apo, our brave martyrs, all our people and humanity.” (D.F.)
