The images broadcasted by the state run and AKP controlled Anatolian Agency showing the moment of the explosion carried out by ISIS gangs, who infiltrated into Kobanê early this morning, have surprised many people as doubts arose why the AA was watching the town at that hour and from that particular point. Doubts arose whether the attacking ISIS gangs serviced the images to AA.
Many journalists asked “Why were AA reporters present at the scene at 04:00 in the morning?”
The editor of Gündem Newspaper Sedat Yılmaz said that over 100 reporters of the Kurdish media are on the ground in the region, while it was only the AA who could capture the moment of explosion.
Sedat Yılmaz wrote on Twitter: “Why was the AA observing the region at that hour? What is the reason for AA reporters monitoring of Kobanê at 04:00 in the morning? Did ISIS gangs service those images? If the AA did not have immobile cameras at that particular point, how come the images are so clear and focused exactly on the target?
Yılmaz also denounced the idea that the images might have been captured by security cameras and said: “I tell it as a journalist, those images are not from a security camera, those are captured by a human being”.
