HDP Co-chair visited Güven and other MPs on hunger strike in Amed

Pervin Buldan visited Leyla Güven and three other HDP MPs who are on hunger strike against the isolation of Öcalan in Amed.

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MP and Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair Leyla Güven is on her 145th day of indefinite hunger strike demanding the end of the isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

HDP Co-chair Pervin Buldan has visited Güven at her home where she continues her action since her release from prison on the 79th day of her fast. Buldan was accompanied by Amed Metropolitan Municipality Co-mayors Selçuk Mızraklı and Hülya Alökmen Uyanık and party members.

Buldan talked to Leyla Güven’s daughter Sabiha Temizkan about her health conditions.

HDP Co-chair then paid a visit to deputies Dersim Dağ, Tayip Temel and Murat Sarısaç who are also on indefinite hunger strike in the HDP building in Amed.
