Commenting on the 3rd anniversary of the Rojava Revolution, HPG and YJA STAR guerrillas said “Rojava Revolution has become the revolution of all the peoples of the world”.

HPG (People's Defense Forces) and YJA STAR (Free Women's Troops) guerrillas commented on the Rojava Revolution for Fırat news Agency, all stressing that the Revolution has created important opportunities to form the unity of the Kurdish people. The guerrillas stressed that the Rojava revolution demonstrated to world public that a free life can be lived only in a free country and built only on the basis of the togetherness of the all the peoples, languages and faiths.

Rojava Revolution achieved with spirit of devotion

Şilan Kobanê: A revolutionary process is going on in Rojava since 2011 and I salute the revolution here on the occasion of its anniversary. I wish more success to all the people in Rojava and the YPG/YPJ forces for all the gains achieved by means of great resistance. Rojava Revolution has been built with devotion. The YPG/YPJ forces waged big resistance and gained a victory in Kobanê, while Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was saying “Kobanê is about to fall”.

The people of North Kurdistan supported the resistance through their actions at the border and the Kobanê resistance has become a revolution of the world's peoples. The victory in Girê Spî has enhanced the gains in Rojava. While the Turkish state and the AKP government supported the ISIS gangs, it has become an end for the AKP and the ISIS which both were buried in the streets and the borders of Kobanê. The victory in Kobanê has also failed the AKP.

Rojava revolution is a continuation of July 14 spirit

Sipan Amed: The Rojava Revolution has been achieved despite the attacks of the ISIS gangs and all the reactionary forces that attempted to break the will of the Kurdish people in Rojava and to subject them to massacres, but faced strong ressitance by the YPG/YPJ forces.

The spirit of the July 19 Revolution is same of the spirit of Kemal, Hayri and their comrades who laid their bodies to a deadly hunger strike rather than surrendering to the enemy in Amed prison on July 14, 1982.

The gang groups continue to target Rojava but the YPG/YPJ forces achieve successes by strongly responding to each attack. As a HPG guerrilla I salute this resistance and victory which in fact proves that the Kurdish people have become a strong will and capable of defending themselves in Rojava Kurdistan. This will is the will of the martyrs, of Arins and Gelhats.

Rojava Revolution is leading the Syrian revolution

Hozan Çiya: I am from Rojava. I salute the Revolution. The significance of July 19 lies in bringing all the peoples of the region under unity. The Rojava Revolution is leading the Syrian revolution.

On the basis of the leading role played by the great commander Martyr Xebat, the YPG/YPJ was formed to fight against the oppression and cruelty of the Baathist regime imposed on the Kurds for long years. Both have become the defense force of the people. The attacks of the gangs could not hinder the progress of the revolution, which has on the contrary become the revolution of not only the Kurds, but also the Arabs, Syriacs and Turkmens in its progress. The Rojava revolution has also exceeded the borders of Kurdistan and its influence has been felt worldwide. Many international revolutionaries are today giving a fight in Rojava in support of the revolution which has indeed become the revolution of the entire humanity.

During all those years, the people of Rojava suffered great pressures and massacres. The biggest supporter of and the responsible power behind these is the Turkish state which however could not reach its dirty aims despite all its efforts to choke the revolution.

The ISIS gangs emerged by Turkey and some other powers aimed to make an ethnic cleansing in Rojava and to eradicate the culture and the language of the people and the cantonal system. Yet, they couldn’t succeed.

It should be known well that HPG guerrillas always stand with the Rojava revolution. I hereby call on everyone to own the Revolution.

A revolution led by women

Viyan Kobanê: Rojava Revolution occupies today a very important place for the entire humanity. July 19 is a sacred day for humanity. The revolution has been achieved under hard conditions and made the Kurds a determined nation capable of resisting all the pressures.

The Turkish state laid support to the ISIS gangs in order to break the revolution, primarily in their attacks on Kobanê. It itself pursued a psychological war on the Kurds to break down their determination. However, all these attempts failed in the face of the strong resistance waged in Kobanê.

The Rojava Revolution has also revealed important opportunities for building the national unity of the Kurdish people, demonstrating that a free life can only be lived in a free country, and only on the basis of the togetherness of the peoples, languages, cultures and faiths.

On the other hand, women played an important role at every step of the revolution, revealing the resisting power of the women in the personality of martyr Arin who became the symbol of the resistance. As a YJA STAR guerrilla, I salute the revolution developed on the basis of the leadership of women and wish success. We always stand by the revolution.
