Gorran leaves parliamentary session in protest for Afrin

Gorran Movement has left a session in the parliament because of the failure to give the necessary support for Afrin.

Gorran (Change) Movement has left the Southern Kurdistan Parliament session handling the attacks on Afrin because the parliament didn’t offer necessary support for Afrin.

Gorran Movement Parliamentary Group Chair Birzo Mecîd stated that; “We have left the session because the parliament has not made decisions to provide political, diplomatic and logistic support for Afrin. Our demand from the parliament was to put pressure on the government in this regard. We wanted the Turkish state to leave Bashur (Southern Kurdistan) lands and the border gate between Bashur and Rojava to open. The government must give political, diplomatic and logistic support to Afrin.”
