Fourteen out of twentyseven people, who were detained during police operations carried out after the guerrilla attack in Eruh/Siirt on 2nd and 3rd August, have been released.

According to the reports received, following the attack of guerrillas on Eruh Security Chief Office and lodgings, police detained 27 people in the frantic raids that followed the attack .

After being sent to Prosecution Office and after the questioning, 14 out of 27 detainees were released, while 13 are still being interrogated. Among the released detainees is also Eruh Mayor Mehmet Melih Oktay.
