Civilians injured in air raids

Turkish war planes took off from Diyarbakir military airport hit the territories in Southern Kurdistan under control of the PKK guerrillas.

Almost ten Turkish jets took off at 1:30 am on Friday and bombed Xinere and Xakurke regions in Kurdistan region of Iraq for an hour and half.

It is reported that while a villager was injured in the attack several cattle have been perished and a car was destroyed.

In the last attack on 1 July Turkish war planes bombed Qandil, Xinere and Xakurke regions and some civil settlements like Gozîne, Bokrîskan, Girdî Holê and Kurtek villages have also been targeted. While 3 houses in Gazine village were destroyed in the attack and cattle have been perished the villages protested the silence of the Kurdistan Regional Government in the face Turkish air attacks on the civilians.

Since May 2010, 2 civilians were killed and 7 others were injured in the Turkish air attacks on South Kurdistan.
