Bodies of three brothers killed by Turkey recovered

Bodies of Remezan Mihemed, Mecîd Mihemed and Tahir Mihemed who were killed by Turkish air strikes at southern Kurdistan border, have been recovered and taken to Sheladize.

Whereabouts of three brothers from Nerwe village of southern Kurdistan remained unknown for a while in the wake of a bombardment by Turkish fighter jets that repeatedly targeted civilian areas on pretext of “fighting the PKK” in northern Iraq.

As a result of the attack was which carried out within southern Kurdistan territory bordering Yüksekova district of Hakkari, villagers looked for and finally reached the bodies of slain civilians today amid continued and intensified aerial attacks by the Turkish army.

Bodies of the three brothers have been taken to Sheladize from Balinda Valley where people protested against the Turkish state’s increasingly ongoing attacks.
