Bodies of 11 YPG/YPJ and HPG fighters sent to their hometowns
Bodies of 11 YPG/YPJ fighters who lost their lives in the fight against ISIS in Rojava and of HPG fighter Sadi Özek who was martyred in Shengal in 2014 have been taken from Silopi and sent to their hometowns for funeral.

Bodies of 11 YPG/YPJ fighters who lost their lives in the fight against ISIS in Rojava and of HPG fighter Sadi Özek who was martyred in Shengal in 2014 have been taken from Silopi and sent to their hometowns for funeral.
The 11 YPG/YPJ fighters, who lost their lives in different times in the fight against ISIS in Rojava, were first brought to Habur border gate where they were handed over to families and MEYADER executives following procedures.
YPG/YPJ fighters Emine Dinç (Bêrîtan Gap) and Mahsum Seçen (Zerdeşt Avesta) lost their lives in Siluk town of Gire Spî on 3 July, while Hüseyin Gökalp (Rustem Cûdî), Yakup Türkan (Tekoşer Nisêbîn), İsmail Ataman (Dilşêr Botan), Fatma Dalmış (Mezra Botan), Hazal Eren (Newroz Botan), Necla Yılmaz (Tekoşîn Nûda), Ayşe Kaçar (Bêrîtan Gabar), Devlet Turan (Bêrîtan Zîlan) and Adem Tankan (Devrim Sipêrtî) lost their lives in clashes that took place in villages in Siluk on 6 July.
After being taken from Habur border gate last night, the bodies of 11 YPG/YPJ fighters were brought to Silopi district of Şırnak to be sent to their hometowns.
A large convoy accompanied the YPG/YPJ fighters as they were received by thousands of people in Silopi where they were taken to Mekke Mosque where a religious ceremony was held for the fallen fighters.
Following the religious duty, the YPG/YPJ fighters were seen off to their hometowns where they will be laid to rest.
- Emîne Dinç (Bêrîtan Gap) will be laid to rest in Urfa,
- Mahsum Seçen (Zerdeşt Avesta), Fatma Dalmış (Mezra Botan) and Hüseyin Gökalp (Rustem Cûdî) in Cizre district of Şırnak,
- Adem Tankan (Devrîm Spêrtî) and Hazal Eren (Newroz Botan) in Silopi district of Şırnak;
- Devlet Turan (Bêrîtan Zîlan) in Şırnak,
- Yakup Türkan (Têkoşer Nisêbîn) in Nusaybin district of Mardin,
- Necla Yılmaz (Têkoşîn Nûda) in Batman,
- Ayşe Kaçar (Bêrîtan Gabar) in Siirt,
- İsmail Ataman (Dilşêr Botan) and HPG fighter Sadi Özek (Agir Kato) in Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak.
