At least 10 soldiers killed in Çukurca
At least 10 soldiers of the Turkish army were killed and many others were wounded as result of the action carried out by guerrillas against a Turkish unit in Çukurca.
Guerrillas carried out an action against the Turkish soldiers on Koordine hill in Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari last night.
According to information obtained from local sources, several containers and tents used by the soldiers here were destroyed and at least 10 soldiers were killed in the action, while many other soldiers got wounded.
HPG sources reported that one guerrilla fell a martyr during the action after which the area was bombarded by Turkish jets and with mortar and howitzer fire.
