65th group took over the hunger strike in Sulaymaniyah

The hunger strike carried out in the Mesopotamian Workers Association has been taken over by the 65th group on the 128th day.

Kurdish hunger strike protest continues in Turkey, Kurdistan, Europe and all around the world. The action, joined by 7 thousand prisoners and hundreds of activists, demands an end to the isolation regime imposed on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan by the Turkish state.

The alternating hunger strike launched in Sulaymaniyah city of southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq demanding the end of the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan continues on day 129.

The hunger strike carried out in the Mesopotamian Workers Association has been taken over by the 65th group on the 128th day.

Speaking on behalf of the new group, Ebdulwehab Ehmed said; “We joined this action to support the hunger strike protest initiated under the leadership of Leyla Güven demanding the end of isolation and fascism.”
