2 major explosions in Gever
2 consecutive major explosions took place in Gever’s Cumhuriyet neighborhood, where fighting had recently intensified. Ambulances flocked to the neighborhood after the explosions.
Fighting intensified in Hakkari’s Gever district, where state forces’ siege and genocidal attacks continue. After their intense bombardment in the early morning hours, state forces tried to infiltrate into Cumhuriyet neighborhood but were met with the resistance of YPS and YPS JIN. 2 consecutive explosions took place after the clashes.
Ambulances reached the site of the explosions through İpekyolu Avenue, and many parts of the neighborhood are covered with smoke. State forces’ bombardment also caused fires in several houses throughout the district.
