PKK and PAJK prisoners in Turkey started indefinite-alternating hunger strike on November 27 demanding that the isolation imposed on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan be ended and he be allowed to meet his family and lawyers.

The hunger strike resistance continues on day 10 with further participation.

Prisoners Vedat Turgut and Vedat Gültekin jailed in Düzce T Type Closed Prison have also started an indefinite-alternating hunger strike.

Turgut and Gültekin called for solidarity with their action in a message they conveyed through their families, saying; “Our action will continue until the isolation on our Leader is lifted. Last week, guards stormed our wards with cameras. We call for public solidarity with our action.”
