Six people detained in Istanbul

Six people were taken into custody in Istanbul on Tuesday. According to the pro-government press, the incident is connected to an investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on suspicion of terrorism. The detainees, who are alleged to be members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), are being held at the counter-terrorism centre of the provincial gendarmerie command in the Maslak district of Istanbul and will be transferred to court in the next step.
