The Press Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released a statement providing information about the latest actions carried out by their forces against occupation forces in the areas of the Qereqozax Bridge and the Tishrin Dam.
The SDF statement on Saturday includes the following:
"As part of a series of legitimate response operations against the ongoing attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and their crimes against the people, the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) carried out two targeted operations against a newly established Turkish occupation base at the Qereqozax Bridge on Friday. The operations resulted in completely destroying a Turkish tank and a radar system. This base is part of the Turkish occupation's continued plans to expand its occupation on Syrian territories.
At the same base, the Martyr Haroun Units of the Syrian Democratic Forces conducted a precision strike on another tank, resulting in its destruction. Additionally, a Toyota military vehicle and an armored vehicle stationed near the Qereqozax hill were successfully targeted and destroyed.
On the fronts of southern and eastern Manbij and the northern Tishrin Dam, our forces targeted five positions of the Turkish occupation mercenaries. Additionally, they destroyed a military vehicle belonging to the mercenaries.
On the Deir Hafer front, SDF Martyr Haroun Units targeted and destroyed a military point used by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries for operating and launching drones.
As a result of these operations, more than ten Turkish occupation soldiers and mercenaries were eliminated, with several others wounded. Additionally, multiple tanks, military vehicles, and military points were destroyed.
Yesterday, Turkish occupation warplanes launched multiple airstrikes on populated villages south of Kobani, including Ghasaq, Melha, and Bir Hisso. In addition, the Turkish occupation artillery and tanks shelled the villages of Saifi Hill, Ja’dah, Bir Hisso, al-Tineh, Melha, and Dekan, causing significant material damage to civilian homes and farms.
Furthermore, Turkish occupation warplanes, UCAVs, and tanks bombarded areas near the Tishreen Dam and villages south and east of Manbij, leading to extensive damage to peoples’ farms and properties."
