Five prisoners on hunger strike in Mardin Prison

The hunger strike of political prisoners in Mardin Type E Closed Prison has been turned into an indefinite-irreversible one.

PKK and PAJK prisoners in Mardin Type E Closed Prison have recently launched a definite-alternate hunger strike as part of the massive hunger strikes in prisons that demand an end to the isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, siege on Kurdish towns and villages and torture and repression in prisons.

The prisoners in Mardin Type E Closed Prison have turned their hunger strike into an indefinite-irreversible one on April 14. Names of the prisoners joining the hunger strike here are: Serhat Tekin, Guvara Elîko, Abdullah Acar, Ahmet Yapıcı and Musa Yüce.
