Şenyaşar family enters 15th day of protest for justice
The sit-in protest started by the Şenyaşar family in front of the Urfa Courthouse continues on its 15th day.
Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar continue their sit-in in front of Urfa Courthouse to protest the murder of Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar (Emine’s husband) and Celal and Adil Şenyaşar (Emine’s sons) by the bodyguards and relatives of AKP deputy Halil İbrahim Yıldız in 2018.
The Şenyaşar family is demanding justice and the release of Fadıl Şenyaşar, also Emine’s son. The action has reached day 15.
The Şenyaşar family posted a statement in Twitter, saying that "the darkest moment of the night is the moment just before dawn. We are experiencing the darkest moment right now. We need hope. Together, we continue to make hope growing... Our quest for justice continues on the 15th day."
