Court to give interlocutory judgement on journalists
The 3rd hearing of the case against workers of the Kurdish press is continuing on the third day at Istanbul 15th High Criminal Court in Silivri.
Forty four Kurdish journalists who were detained on December 2011 in the scope of the so called KCK (Kurdish Communities Union) operation, are being accused because of the news they wrote. Thirty two of the journalists are currently in prison.
The court board is expected to give the interlocutory judgement tomorrow after listening to the demands of defendants.
The hearing which continues with the reading of the indictment is attended by lawyers, as well as families and collogues of journalists on trial.
