YPG fighters say it won’t be long until the final blow is dealt to ISIS.
YPG fighters are living among the people in Tabqa’s Kassara neighborhood that has been cleared of ISIS and they say it won’t be long until the final blow is dealt to ISIS.
As YPG-led SDF fighters continue the Tabqa and Raqqa operations, what they cared for most was the safety of the civilian people. YPG fighters deliver the people running from ISIS cruelty to safe zones and they ensure safety for the people in the liberated areas. According to the YPG fighters, the good news that Tabqa has been completely liberated won’t be long.
The Tabqa operation by the YPG-led SDF with support from the US-led International Coalition is drawing to a close. YPG fighters in the liberated Kassara neighborhood Bahoz Tolhildan and Ala Zaxo spoke to the ANF.
PEOPLE ARE HAPPY TO SEE US
YPG fighter Bahoz Tolhildan stated that they launched the operation to liberate the people living under ISIS tyranny and they have come this far to a significant point. “The town center has come mostly under our control,” said Tolhildan and continued: “We are now among the people here. When they see that we came to fight for their freedom, their morale improves even further.”
ISIS TRAPPED IN A SMALL AREA
YPG fighter Ala Zaxo pointed out that they are in Kassara neighborhood and said that they fought a war of great effort and sacrifice to liberate these neighborhoods and this town from ISIS invasion. “Now the ISIS gangs are trapped in a small area to the east of town,” said Zaxo and continued: “ISIS can’t stand against us, they can’t hold on, they are unable to fight against us. As you can see, we are among the people. We showed the utmost care throughout the operation to the safety of the civilian people. Sometimes, we remove them from the immediate war zone so they won’t be harmed, and sometimes, as you see here, they stay with us when we can ensure their safety. They are happy to be with us. We will soon give the people the good news that the town has been completely liberated.”
