The Spring of Humanity is near: ISIS is falling

"The enemies of humanity are crumbling in the face of the historical resistance of the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces), YPG (People's Defence Units), and YPJ (Women's Defence Units). And in the newborn world, only the laughter of children will chime."

On 29 June 2014 a group of bloodthirsty, barbaric and immoral gangs, unprecedented in all the history of the peoples in the Middle East, has announced a new formation. This gang popularly dubbed DAESH, changed its name from the former "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" to "Islamic State". They claimed the city of Raqqa as their capital and their leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi announced his caliphate. This gang, which has ravaged the Middle East like a nightmare, filled the hearts with terror wherever they went. They committed massacres in most barbaric manners and laid hands on a big city like Mosul in just one single night. They perpetrated indiscriminate mass murders, beheaded people publicly on the streets and randomly slaughtered women, children and the elderly. The world was left in shock seeing the barbaric acts of this savage gang but still decided to remain onlookers.

Yet the main targets of this gang were the Kurdish areas and the Kurdish people. They launched a massive attack on Rojava and on Southern Kurdistan. When they attacked Kobanê, they encountered the greatest resistance of the century. Kurdish young boys and girls under the command of the YPG and YPJ rendered with their historical resistance ISIS as well as all those powers, which dreamed of annihilating the Kurdish people and the Kurdish Freedom Struggle foor good by utilizing attacks from ISIS, abashed. Following this legendary resistance, international powers - even those who used to deny the Kudish existence - were left with no other option than accepting the truth of the Kurds. Likewise did the resistance in Shengal, Kirkuk and Makhmur led by the HPG (People's Defence Forces) and the deadly blows delivered to ISIS gangs ignited new hope for the world. People from all four parts of Kurdistan and around the world started to join the ranks of the YPG and YPJ. Time has come for the spring of humanity to blossom. And all the people in this world sensed it.

ISIS' LAST MOMENTS IN THEIR SELF-DECLARED CAPITAL

With the tremendous resistance of the YPG and YPJ, these barbaric gangs have been cleared from the soil of Rojava, Northern Syria, once and for all. After the subsequent formation of the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) this resistance gained a new momentum. With the liberation of Manbij, Shaddadi and Hawl, the city of Raqqa has been effectively encircled. Now ISIS is suffering the final blows. The operation to liberate Raqqa led by the SDF has entered today its 26th day. ISIS is living its last days in its capital. The YPG, YPJ and SDF are coming closer step by step and are drawing nearer to the liberation of Raqqa more and more.

Also the ISIS gangs are well aware of this fact. To prolong its existence, they desperately resort to any means they got. But the heroic resistance of the brave fighters render all their efforts in vain. Two days ago on the second anniversary of their foundation, the ISIS gangs launched an attack on the fighters of the YPG, YPJ and SDF in the district Sinea in eastern Raqqa, to make an appearance. The fighters broke that attack in an instant. After this attack we headed as a journalist team on the front line to the fighters. But as it was not perfectly safe yet, the fighters initially refused to meet us. But as we kept pressuring persistently over a long time, we were finally able to persuade them and get permission for three of our team to meet them. We entered an arms delivery vehicle and left.

“NOT ONLY FOR THE LIBERATION OF ONE CITY”

The deeper we drove into Raqqa, the more the destruction caused by the war came out. Traces of yesterday's battle were clearly visible. The smell of explosives still lingered in the air. And the streets were covered with the corpses of the gangs. The car drove us to a building, where a fighter welcomed us. By entering the room we once more witnessed the violence the war entailed. The building's staircase was completely torn down. The window panes and doors were riddled with bullets. But when we came inside, the fighters greeted us one by one.

A fighter named Mazlum gave us an account of the fight yesterday night: "This attack of them did not deliver the desired result they hoped for. Their attacks have been totally defeated and our comrades are all well off. ISIS will go down. Until they completely disappear from the face of the earth, our struggle will continue. In view of the resistance of the YPG, YPJ and SDF, they are predestinated to be defeated. In the new born world, only the laughter of children will chime."

The eyes of the young fighter began to shine for happiness while talking to us. He spoke with such conviction and enthusiasm, that he caused also us to fall into excitement and ardour. While he spoke, another female fighter with the name Zozan burst out laughing and said to him: "Do not worry, comrade Mazlum, as your laughter is sufficient enough for this world now and the next world to come." With these words we realized that Mazlum himself is known as a humorist and cheery guy. Whilst talking and laughing with those two fighters, the commander of the unit called Bahoz came and sat next to us. A journalist who accompanied us said to him: "Are you cleaning yet another town from ISIS?". Bahoz replied with a smile: "With Raqqa it is not only the liberation of a city that is aimed at, but a fight for the sake of humanity per se." This answer left the journalist feel ashamed lowering his head slightly, but enough for commander Bahoz to see it. To brighten him up commander Bahoz slapped his back and said: "Now come and taste some of our tea."

TAKING LEAVE

Even though the fighters got through a clash with ISIS gangs some hours ago and most of them did not even have time to take a break for one hour, all of them are full of energy and life. When afternoon broke in, we were told to better leave now for our safety as the fighting becomes intense after dark. We said farewell and left.

All our observations draw only one possible conclusion: ISIS is predestined to be defeated in the face of such a strong will and force.
