Militant transfer from Suruç AFAD camp to Jarablus in return for money

Within the scope of Turkish state's occupation operation on Jarablus, militants are being transferred from state-run AFAD camps in return for money through Turkish intelligence service MIT.

More dirty plans of the Turkish state are emerging following its incursion into Jarablus, which came as YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) started to move towards Bab after liberating Manbij from ISIS groups.

It came out that Turkish state is reinforcing militants in return for money from state-run AFAD refugee camps to Jarablus through Antep's Karkamış district. The militants are those agencificated by Turkish intelligence service MIT.

The militants are arranged by some men carrying bags full of money -Dollars- who visit the AFAD tent city in Urfa's Suruç district, which is located in Aligor neighborhood and hosts some 30 thousand people. It has been found out that more than 20 militants have been sent to Jarablus through Karkamış during the past 5 days.

A resident in the tent city, who asked to be mentioned anonymous for security of life, stated that this money is given to the families of the militants that are sent to Jarablus, and these militants also try to recruit their children that are able to use arms.

The camp resident pointed out that the person that recruits members from the camp meet with the camp guard in the early morning and evening hours. According to the camp resident, the camp guard called İbrahim, who is disabled in both feet, helped this man recruit members from this camp. The recruited members are later taken out of the camp and transferred to Jarablus.

The camp resident remarked that a man by the name of Yasır Ali Mahmut, who pretends to be selling mobile phones in the camp, also assists the recruitment of militants for the gang groups. Accordingly, Yasır Ali Mahmut is the main person that helps this recruitment. A man named Mustafa is among those sent to Jarablus in return for money recently.

According to the camp resident, who cites people that have talked to Mustafa after his arrival in Jarablus, Mustafa regrets going to Jarablus but has no way to return because of the payment he has received. Mustafa's children remain in the camp together with his relatives.

The network reportedly continues its search for new militants to be recruited and sent to Jarablus.
