KCK’s Hozat: This path will lead Erdoğan to suicide like Hitler

“Erdoğan’s situation is similar to Hitler’s in 1944. This path will lead Erdoğan to kill himself, it is a suicide", said KCK executive Besê Hozat.

Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) Executive Council Co-chair Besê Hozat spoke on the show “From the Country” broadcast on the News Channel TV and commented on recent developments.

Hozat stated that Turkey has no credibility left in the international arena, nobody wants to develop relations with the country and that even former strategic allies are questioning their alliances today.

Hozat pointed out that the society in Turkey is experiencing a severe moral collapse, that it has reached a level without boundaries and that an aggressive fascistic regime is being socialized and institutionalized through this decay. Hozat continued:

“TURKEY IS UNDER A FASCIST DICTATORSHIP”

“Currently, Turkey is under a fascist dictatorship. This regime is a dictatorial regime, and at the top is the Erdoğan-Bahçeli fascist dictatorship today. They are trying to build a new culture and a new social reality through an extremely nationalist, racist, fundamentalist and sectarian ideology. Look, now they changed the curriculum for the whole education system. Education plays an important role in building a society. The regime is trying to create a society and a youth it wants through the education system, to which children are subjected to from age 6. The curriculum has been completely transformed in accordance with the AKP paradigm, and it is based on a monist, fundamentalist and nationalist ideology. It rejects all differences in ethnicity, faith and culture. It is based on an extremely patriarchal, utterly sexist ideology. This is a paradigm. They want to create such a society. On the top there is the political power, the Erdoğan-Bahçeli fascist dictatorship, the political regime. Now they want to modify the society to fit that, and the dictatorship wants to prolong its life for years with this enslaved compliant society they are restructuring and rebuilding. The real danger is this. These are plays geared towards disrupting the society’s mind, culture and the social fabric. In this sense, there is a severe moral collapse in Turkey’s society. Religious fanaticism, nationalism and racism are nurtured among the people and provoked. This is called polarization, and this polarization goes very deep.

"THEY WANT TO SOCIALIZE FASCISM"

From education to the school curriculum, from children’s and women’s policies to the restructuring of the military, they are trying to create an extremely monist, racist, sexist, sectarian and fundamentalist generation and a social structure reality. In this sense, the State of Emergency is also serving this end. AKP will prolong this State of Emergency until they finish this restructuring. That gives the fascist AKP-MHP government serious opportunities. They issue new laws every day through Statutory Decrees easily, they carry out intense operations to wipe out all opposition. They silence anybody who opposes them and speaks out. They imprison and torture people. They fire people, leave them unable to work. There are millions of unemployed people in Turkey. Violence against women has climbed to incredible levels. Social decay and the moral collapse know no bounds. They want to deepen social divides, and socialize and institutionalize their genocidal fascist regime through decay and wipe out practices. That is why they need the State of Emergency. Turkey is completely submerged in a process of a State of Emergency fascist dictatorial regime now, and this process doesn’t seem like it’s going to end any time soon. AKP and MHP need the State of Emergency to carry these policies to completion, so they keep extending it.”

"SOCIETY’S RAGE AGAINST THE FASCIST REGIME GROWS"

KCK Executive Council Co-chair Besê Hozat stated that it would be wrong to assume that the stance Turkey’s population showed in the referendum and their support for the Justice March was support for the CHP, and the right thing to do would be understanding these as the people’s will to fight against the Erdoğan-Bahçeli fascist dictatorship and added the following:

“Actually, extending the State of Emergency does this for them as well, let me say this, this situation is taking away from the life of both AKP and this fascist dictatorship. It’s deepening the societal depression and conflict in Turkey. We just saw this, millions joined in the Justice March and the Maltepe rally. They were not just CHP’s base. All social groups opposing the AKP-MHP fascist regime lent their voice to the Justice March. The referendum was the same. The NO vote was over 60%, it is very clear that these votes were stolen - no need to argue there. This shows the stance of Turkey’s population. AKP is trying to silence all opposition, the Kurds, the Alevis, women, the youth and all dissident voices through fascist practices, attacks and genocidal policies, but that will create just the opposite effect and grow the rage against the fascist regime throughout society. It will create a boiling pot, a bomb ready to explode. When there is the slightest base for it, society will carry this rage into the streets in the strongest fashion. The NO vote was at 60% in the referendum. There was great participation in the Justice March from all regions of Turkey. What were these against? They were against the fascist dictatorship. That much is clear. These shouldn’t be read as support for the CHP. These showed the peoples’ stance against the current Erdoğan-Bahçeli fascist regime, their stance for the struggle. It should be read as such. Turkey’s forces of democracy, Kurds, Alevis, leftist-socialist circles, everybody displayed their own stance and put forth their own will. The Erdoğan-Bahçeli fascist regime is trying to cover up this reality through the State of Emergency.”

“AKP IS STANDING BY THE EDGE OF THE CLIFF”

Hozat said nobody wants to enter strategic alliances with Turkey anymore, the country experiences serious problems with even its allies and is increasingly isolated: “Turkey’s current situation resembles Germany during the WWII in 1940-45. It is similar to the process where Hitler’s fascism was marching towards defeat and was falling apart and democratic criteria becoming dominant. Erdoğan’s situation is similar to Hitler’s in 1944. This path will lead Erdoğan to kill himself, it is a suicide. Looking at Turkey’s situation, back then Germany was clamped and isolated, and the whole world united against German fascism. Now everybody’s taking a stance against the fascism in Turkey. Turkey is increasingly isolated, has no friends left and has no more credibility anywhere. Nobody wants to develop strategic relations with Turkey, even the oldest strategic allies are questioning their alliance today, there is a severe weakening there. Turkey is America’s ally, but their relationship is on the rocks. Turkey has serious issues with Europe, and the crisis with Germany is the manifestation of this. Germany is a primary country in NATO, and that means Turkey is having serious issues with NATO. It is the same with the countries in the region. It is obvious where the conflict in Syria and Iraq brought them. Turkey wants to build something with Iran over the Kurdish issue, but that won’t achieve anything. Turkey is trying to build a relationship, an alliance with Russia on Syrian territory, but this relationship and the alliance is not strategic. Russia won’t develop strategic alliances with a regime that is unreliable and will go away sometime in the near future. Russia is a pragmatic state, and they are developing tactical relationships in the current situation. Their planes were downed, their ambassador was murdered, will they let those pass? Russia will make Turkey pay through the nose, step by step. Turkey has no friends or strategic allies left in the region and in the international arena, the country is going through a serious disruption. AKP has taken Turkey to the brink of suicide. They have one foot by the edge of the cliff, but the other foot now is over the edge.”
