Fighters of the Manbij Military Council continue advancing in the city center within the scope of the operation to liberate the Manbij city launched on June 1.
Combatants of the Council are conducting search and sweep activities in the streets and houses they have cleared of ISIS gangs who are being inflicted heavy blows and driven out of a larger territory every day.
On one of the streets liberated from the ISIS to the southwest of the city yesterday, Manbij Military Council fighters have seized a large quantity of ammunition in a house where ISIS gangs had been deployed and which they had been using as headquarters.
The seized munitions of the gangs include binoculars, Kalashnikov rifles, BKC and bullets, B7 rocket and projectiles, DsHka cartridges, improvised explosive devices. The ammunition seized here also includes flame throwers the Turkish state produced and sent to ISIS gangs in trucks.
On the other hand, Manbij Military Council fighters have found a tunnel used by ISIS gangs to the southeast of the city. The tunnel which served as a major route for the gangs was destroyed after a check.
