Musa Aziz and Ali İsa, Arab fighters in the SDF, say that the peoples on these lands are brothers, but this fraternity is consolidated on the battle fronts.
The operation launched on the night of March 21 to end ISIS invasion in Tabqa center and surroundings continues. SDF fighters led by the YPG have completed the town siege and settled in the western and southwestern neighborhoods on the outskirts, with support from the International Coalition led by the US. Musa Aziz and Ali İsa are two of the Arab SDF fighters in the Tabqa front, and they spoke to ANF.
“WE BELIEVE WE WILL END THE INVASION”
Musa Aziz pointed out that they are settled in the peripheral neighborhoods of the town and said that they spent a great deal of effort and sacrificed a lot to get to this place. Aziz mentioned that they arrived at where they are after both crossing the dam and starting the siege on the other side of the dam, and said that the next step will be to clear Tabqa completely of ISIS gangs. Aziz stressed: “We as the SDF fighters believe that we will end the ISIS invasion, and we will prevail.”
“FRATERNITY NURTURED IN THE FRONT”
SDF fighter Ali İsa said that the operation to liberate Tabqa has reached an important phase and added: “Up to now, we surrounded the town and strengthened our positions. The siege is now complete. We are currently in the peripheral neighborhoods of the town. We are now breathing down the neck of the gangs in the city.” Ali İsa pointed to the military and political character of the SDF and stressed the following: “Here we Arab and Kurdish fighters fight shoulder to shoulder. The peoples who live on these lands are brothers. But this fraternity is consolidated on the battle fronts.”
