A fire broke out in the region around Mount Cudi in Şırnak after military activity in the area. It was learned that no attempt was made to extinguish the fire.

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Şırnak MP, Hüseyin Kaçmaz, post on his social media accounts news about the fire and said that it was due to the military activity registered in the area.

Kaçmaz's post said: “The hostility to nature continues even on the day of the Feast of Sacrifice. A fire broke out in the wooded area as a result of military activity on Mount Cudi. So far, nothing has been done to extinguish the fire."
