A solidarity coalition has been formed under the name “Syrian National Resistance” against the Turkish state’s invasion on Syrian territory. Syrian National Resistance comprised of Syrian patriots and forces has been declared in a press conference held in Efrîn’s Til Rifet town with the attendance of press workers and Syrian National Resistance Political Bureau members.

Syrian National Resistance Political Bureau Member Rêzan Hido read the statement in the press conference.

The statement is as follows:

“Esteemed brothers and sisters, the peoples of Syria were subjected to a regressive, insensible war of hate under Ottoman exploitation for decades. Our lands and our values were looted, and Lîwaa İskenderun (İskenderun Brigade) was taken from our territorial integrity and torn from us. The historic values of Kurds, Armenians, Arabs, Chaldeans and Assyrians on these lands have been destroyed and the lands have been reduced to ruins, the people subjected to genocides. This current situation is a different reflection of Hitler’s mindset. Today, this mindset is being revived by supporting the terror groups formed in Syria.

This is why, we are declaring a solidarity coalition named Syrian National Resistance which consists of Syrian patriot individuals and forces, with the experience of the Ottoman invasion.”

THE AIMS OF THE COALITION

The aims of the coalition were listed as follows:

- With the goal of building the democratic and co-existential life in Syria, the coalition will use the energy it will derive from the natural rights of every Syrian for the solution to the crisis in Syria.

- The Turkish colonial goals will be stopped and the area between Jarablus and the Iskenderun Brigade will be taken back as Syrian territory.

- The coalition is open to working in coordination with national forces for the liberation of every inch of Syrian land and against possible invasion attacks in the future.
