The YPG Press Office has said in a written statement that YPG/YPJ forces launched operations against ISIS gangs in the Kobanê and Cizîre (Jazireh) cantons of Rojava.

YPG said the YPG/YPJ forces launched yesterday, the 232nd day of the resistance, an attack on the gang groups in the area near Seferiye village to the east of Kobanê. The attack targeted a convoy of the gangs, destroying 3 military vehicles with the gang members inside. The exact number of the casualties of the gangs could not be clarified, added the YPG.

Regarding the clashes in Cizîre canton, YPG said the clashes at the western border of the canton with ISIS gang groups are continuing, reporting that the YPG/YPJ forces launched an attack on the emplacements of the gang groups in Til Temir and 3 nearby villages, Twêna, Xebîş and Til Nasrî, while the number of casualties could not be ascertained.
