Youth shot by police in Cizre dies

As youths dug a ditch in Yafes Neighborhood during the protest, an armed attack by special operation police teams targeted the neighborhood residents, which left two youths wounded.

Abdullah Özdal (21) who suffered a critical injury after a police-fired bullet hit him in the chest was rushed to the public hospital from which he was referred to Diyarbakır Training and Research Hospital.

Özdal has lost his life at hospital this morning. He will be laid to rest in Cizre Ş.Bêrivan Cemetery following an autopsy.
