Turkish military shelled the Kolan region in Varto district of Muş where security forces killed four civilians two days ago after people took control of the town to defend themselves against the never-ending attacks of Turkish state forces.

This morning's strikes by Cobra type helicopters have targeted the Kolan region, which houses the Martyr İsmail and Martyr Ronahi Martyr's Cemetery of PKK guerrillas, and the villages of Badina, Baska, Kolan, Çasan, Badan and Gulîge in the area.

DBP Party Assembly member Sırrı Sever said they have left for the scene of the Turkish bombardment.
