Turkish army captured 4 YPG fighters on their way to rescue civilians

YPG reported that 4 YPG fighters were ambushed and taken captive on their way to Al-Kûsa village as it was attacked by Turkish military and affiliated gang groups.

YPG Press Office said in a written statement that; “Warplanes of the Turkish army bombed the Al-Kûsa village to the south of Jarablus on August 28. The airstrike killed dozens of civilians and injured dozens of others. In the wake of the genocidal aggression, Jarablus Military Council Command Center issued an urgent call for the rescue of wounded civilians and their treatment.

Upon this call, a unit of 4 YPG fighters left for the area but they were taken captive on their way after their car was ambushed by Turkish army and affiliated gang groups.

We declare that we hold the Turkish state and army responsible for the life and state of health of our fighters."
