The popular resistance ongoing in North Kurdistan continues to inspire youths from other parts of Kurdistan as well.

After a series of declarations of support by youths from across South Kurdistan, Shengal revolutionary youth's movement has also voiced readiness to fight in the ranks of Civilian Defense Units YPS and women's branch YPS-Jin.

"ERDOĞAN IS THE COMMON ENEMY OF THE REGION'S PEOPLES"

Speaking on behalf of Shengal revolutionary youth's movement, Têkoşîn Laleş called attention to the aggravated isolation imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and the all-out war concept initiated by the Turkish state against the Kurdish civilian population.

Têkoşîn Laleş underlined that; "The Turkish state is engaged in a dirty game of war with an intention to break the will of peoples. The AKP state has provided support and assistance to the ISIS gangs, enemies of humanity, in Rojava, Shengal and many other regions, and committed a massacre against the peoples seeking justice and rights. AKP murdered our people in Ankara, Suruç, Van, Nusaybin, Sur and most recently Cizre. Erdoğan, the leader of gangs, labels our slain people 'terrorist'. In response, we say that Erdoğan himself is the most prominent gang and terrorist in the eye of the Middle East peoples. He is the dictator of the 21st century that massacres peoples in response to their demands and seek for justice."

Têkoşîn Laleş said silence on ongoing massacres would be a major treason, stressing that they as youths of Shengal were ready to take an active part in the resistance in North Kurdistan.

"PEOPLE OF NORTH KURDISTAN IS NOT ALONE"

Speaking to ANF after the press release, Ciwan Şerfedin, a member of Shengal revolutionary youth's movement, said people of North Kurdistan shouldn't feel alone as Shengal youths are training themselves and getting ready to support them.

Şerfedin saluted the resistance led by YPS and YPS-Jin, adding the followings; "As an Êzîdî youth, I am ready to join the ranks of resistance in four parts of Kurdistan. It was the people of North Kurdistan that came to our aid while we suffered the 74th genocide of our history. It was the people of North Kurdistan that crossed the borders and helped us. They are still risking their own lives to protect the people of Shengal at the moment. We are also organising ourselves and getting ready for any part of Kurdistan. We are ready to go and fight wherever we are needed."
