Reports of casualties from the building blown up by YPS in Şırnak
YPS units blew up a building where Turkish special operations teams got deployed in Şırnak province. Reports are coming through of many casualties among Turkish units.
The province of Şırnak where popular resistance for self-rule against the state's genocidal attacks endures for 46 days, is witnessing heavy clashes.
In İsmetpaşa neighborhood, one of the main areas where the fighting intensifies, Civil Defense Units YPS/YPS-JIN surrounded a building where state forces got deployed today afternoon.
According to reports by local sources, YPS/YPS-JIN combatants called on the Turkish forces to “surrender”, but they were responded with fire. YPS combatants therewith blew up the building that had been trapped with explosives before.
While the blast has reportedly left many special operations members inside dead, a large quantity of ammunition belonging to Turkish forces was also seized.
YPS/YPS-JIN combatants also destroyed two armored vehicles of state forces in Yeni and Dicle neighborhoods.
