Clashes between ISIS gangs and Kurdish forces re-erupted in an area close to Governor's Office in Heynida neighborhood of Kirkuk.

Heynida Asayish Commander Ekid Tahir spoke to ANF and stated that clashes between ISIS gangs and Kurdish forces continue after gangs launched another attack a while ago.

Tahir said an ISIS member detonated explosives during the fighting that continues in an area close to the governor's office.

In the meantime, ISIS gangs have also attacked the 1 June neighborhood in Kirkuk city center.

Peshmerga and asayish forces have sent reinforcements to the neighborhood where violent clashes are taking place.

ISIS members that remained disguised in some neighborhoods of Kirkuk have reportedly started an aggression.
