Bodies of 20 YPG/YPJ fighters held at Rojava border

Upon an instruction by AKP government's Cabinet of Ministers, Turkish authorities continue denying permission for the delivery of bodies of fallen YPG/YPJ fighters from Rojava to their homeland North Kurdistan.

As the Turkish ban on the entry of martyrs' bodies continue, the number of deceased combatants held at Mürşitpınar border crossing between Suruç district of Urfa and Rojava, has risen to 20 today.

Families of the martyrs are resisting at the border gate for six days now to reclaim the bodies of their beloved ones.

The names of the YPG/YPJ fighters whose bodies are not being allowed into North Kurdistan are;
