YPG/YPJ forces carried out an operation against ISIS gangs to the south east of Qamişlo (Qamishli) last night, completely liberating 22 villages.

Residents of villages located to the south east of the city of Qamışlo in Cizîrê (Jazirah) Canton suffering the oppression of ISIS gangs, had requested that YPG/YPJ forces cleanse the area of these terrorists.

Hence yesterday evening YPG/YPJ forces launched an operation against ISIS gangs. It is reported that as a result of this successful operation 22 villages were liberated.

The names of the villages liberated by the YPG/YPJ forces are as follows:

Diyabê, Heymar, Heymar El-Akkar, Ebu Gegidir, Cilbarat, Mezra Cilbarart, Küçük Cilbarat, Xirbit El-Bexil, Neic, Kasr Faris, Büyük Farisko, Hurriyê, Migrênat, Taya, Xibrit El- Têr, Bezûna, Tuveyil, Mezrat Ebu Hesen, Çêlekê, Mazlume and two other villages, the names of which have yet to be clarified.
