2-year-old baby killed in Silopi

After yesterday's death of 70 years old Zülfiye Taşkın as a result of artillery strikes on Başak (Zap) and Barbaros neighborhoods, Taşkın's granddaughter, 2 years old Esra Şalk has also died today.

Esra was heavily wounded in yesterday's aggression and taken under treatment in Cizre Public Hospital. She was later referred to a hospital in Batman province where she has lost her life today.

A total of 8 people have died due to the ongoing bombardment of Turkish military and police forces in the district for the past 2 days.
