Mobilization video for "Long March 2022": Join us!

The preparatory initiative for the internationalist "Long March 2022" mobilises with video calls for participation in the multi-day march from Frankfurt to Saarbrucken in February.

In February, a multi-day internationalist march for the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan and a solution to the Kurdish question will take place. The "Long March 2022" will start in Frankfurt and end with the traditional large-scale demonstration in Strasbourg. The preparatory initiative has published two videos inviting people to participate in the rally.

 

According to the preparatory committee, participants are expected from Latin America, Spain, the Basque Country, Catalonia, Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Scandinavian countries, Belgium and Austria. The day of the meeting is 5 February in Frankfurt. The Long March starts on Sunday, 6 February, at 10 am at the Hauptwache/Frankfurt and ends in Saarbrucken:

6 February (Sunday): Frankfurt-Darmstadt

7 February (Monday): Darmstadt- Bensheim

8 February (Tuesday): Bensheim-Mannheim

9 February (Wednesday): Mannheim-Bad Dürkheim

10 February (Thursday): Homburg-Saarbrücken

11 February (Friday): Saarbrücken - ends with a demonstration in the city

 

Sports shoes and warm clothing are suitable for the Long March. Sleeping bags should be brought along. The preparatory initiative calls for participation and states that those interested can contact the email address [email protected] and will then receive further information. Covid 19 pandemic measures should be observed throughout the march.
