Clashes erupted between Manbij Military Council fighters and Turkish troops with their affiliated gangs near Al-Wexaz and Koheyûk villages Tuesday afternoon.

An armored vehicle of the Turkish army was destroyed during the clashes and 16 gang members that attempted to infiltrate into Al-Boxaz village were killed.

Clashes are reported to be ongoing.
