A demonstration and march was held in French capital city Paris for the freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The march organised by Ciwanên Azad Paris began in front of Gar de l'est at 14:30 yesterday with demonstrators carrying banners of Öcalan.

Addressing the crowd at République Square, KCD-E Co-chair Yüksek Koç said: "Öcalan struggles to stop the dirty war in the Middle East and a free living of peoples. Öcalan's freedom is the freedom of women and peoples. Our struggle will continue until Mr. Abdullah Öcalan's freedom is ensured."
