Kobanê Foreign Affairs Deputy Head İdris Nassan and Health Council President Nassan Ahmad held talks at the Austrian Parliament regarding the reconstruction of the war-torn city in West Kurdistan, Rojava.

During the visit to Social Democrat Party's Andreas Schieder, Berivan Aslan of the Greens, and Elizabeth Pfurtscheller and Andreas Zakostelsky of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), Nassan and Ahmad provided information about the current situation in the city, and drew attention to the importance of support from abroad.

Pointing to the defeat of ISIS by Kurds in Kobanê with the support the international coalition, Nassan and Ahmad called for support from democratic powers in the process of reconstruction.

Devoting close attention to the Kobanê ministers who also introduced the democratic autonomy project, Austrian parliamentarians pledged support for Kobanê.

The delegation also attended the public meetings in Graz and capital city Vienna.
