AKP members were protested and expelled from the funeral of 42 people that had been massacred in Antep by ISIS gangs supported by the AKP. Participants chanted slogans of ‘Murderer Erdoğan’ and expelled the AKP Mayor and parliamentarians from Antep.

Bodies of 50 of the 51 people that had lost their lives during the bomb attack on a Kurdish wedding in the Beybahçe neighborhood of Antep’s Şahinbey district were brought to Yeşilkent cemetery morgue. 5 bodies were buried this morning and 1 body each was sent to Adıyaman, Van and Siirt. The remaining 42 bodies were buried in Antep today and HDP Co-President Figen Yüksekdağ, DBP Co-President Sebahat Tuncel, HDK Co-Spokesperson Ertuğrul Kürkçü, HDP parliamentarians Nursel Aydoğan, İbrahim Ayhan, Behçet Yıldırım and Mahmut Tuğrul, and thousands of other civilians participated in the funeral ceremony.

Participants of the funeral protested a committee of AKP parliamentarians from Antep and expelled them as they chanted slogans such as ‘Murderer Erdoğan and ‘Collaborators of ISIS.’

Despite the blockade of the police and the soldiers, the bodies were wrapped in green-red-yellow fabric and carried to the ceremony with the slogan of ‘Martyrs don’t die.’
