YPS: 11 members of state forces killed and another 6 wounded
YPS General Coordination announced that 11 members of state forces were killed and another 6 were injured as a result of their actions.
YPS General Coordination announced that state forces used arms with phosphor in the neighborhoods of resistance. YPS said their units continue to prevent state forces from advancing, and destroyed 1 tank and 1 armored earth digger. YPS forces also damaged a Kobra-type armored vehicle, and 11 members of state forces died and another 6 were injured as a result of their actions.
ACTION AGAINST STATE FORCES IN NUSAYBIN
YPS stated that 7 special operations gendarmes attempting to enter Nusaybin’s Alika neighborhood were killed in a YPS action on April 25. YPS members destroyed 1 tank and damaged a Kobra-type armored vehicle in the same neighborhood on the same day. YPS fighters also destroyed an armored earth digger attempting to enter Alika neighborhood, and detailed information on the number of state forces that died or got injured during this action will soon be shared with the public.
ACTION BY YPS-JIN MEMBERS IN ŞIRNAK
YPS stated that the driver of a Kobra-type armored vehicle was killed as he was trying to enter Şırnak’s Bahçelievler district on April 25. Another officer was killed in Ömerköy on the same day.
YPS General Coordination announced that YPS-JIN members carried out an action with heavy weaponry against state forces in Şırnak and 8 rockets hit their targets during this action. A similar action where 3 rockets hit their targets was organized at the same location the next day, and the numbers of dead and injured soldiers have not yet been clarified.
CLASH IN VAN
According to the statement, YPS forces responded to state forces raiding a house in Van on April 18, as a result of which 2 special operations police were killed and another 6 were injured. YPS forces hit 2 Kobra-type vehicles that arrived at the scene as reinforcements, and the numbers of dead and injured state forces couldn't be determined.
