Turkish soldiers kill 6 people from the same family from Rojava – UPDATE

It came out that Turkish soldiers have killed 6 people from the same family on the border between Rojava (West) and Bakur (North) Kurdistan last night.

As Turkish state continues its enmity towards Rojava and its people, soldiers of the Turkish army fired on a family that attempted to cross into Bakur Kurdistan from Rojava last night.

Seven members of a family from Hesekê city of Rojava were shot by Turkish soldiers as they tried to cross the border in Nestel village of Serêkaniyê at 02:00 last night.

The savage aggression of Turkish soldiers left six people dead, including two children whose bodies were found on the Rojava side of the border alongside an injured woman. Bodies of the other 4 slain civilians reportedly remain on Bakur Kurdistan side of the border and Turkish soldiers do not allow the locals from Rojava to search for their bodies.

YPG members patrolling in the area had found the bodies of two children and a woman shot and injured on the chest earlier today, and rushed them to hospital. No news is currently available regarding the fate of the other members of the family.

Residents in Nestel village who are searching for the bodies of the remaining 4 people stated that Turkish soldiers threatened them with death.
