Numerous houses have been torn down in Başak (Zap) neighborhood where residents suffer a never-ending destruction by state forces. As houses are being destroyed one by one, local people are not allowed to retrieve their belongings and properties from their houses to which they are denied access due to the ongoing curfew. Some residents are still trying to rescue the goods from their houses for which a demolition order has been issued already.

Residents of Zap neighborhood had been forced out of their houses after the imposition of the curfew, upon which they moved near their relatives in Yenişehir, Dicle and Ofis neighborhoods.

Turkish state forces keep patrolling with armored vehicles and attacking people with tear gas and pressure water in the mentioned neighborhoods.
