Two children got injured after an object that they had found exploded in the Büyükakar street of İskenderpaşa neighborhood in Amed’s Sur district. The explosion is reported to have occurred when M.İ. (13) and Ş.A. (11) opened the object and set the dust inside the object on fire with a lighter.

The injured children were rushed to Selahattin Eyyubi State Hospital to receive treatment. M.İ. was later transferred to Dicle University Hospital because of his critical condition, and Ş.A. was released after the first examination.

Police officers arrived at the site of the explosion to examine the area.
