Attacks repelled, 12 gang members killed in Manbij

The attacks launched by the Turkish army and affiliated gangs on the villages of Manbij yesterday have been repelled and 12 gang members have been killed.

Occupant Turkish army and gang groups acting under their command launched simultaneous attacks on villages to the west and south of Manbij yesterday morning.

Violent clashes that erupted upon the harsh retaliation of Manbij Military Council fighters lasted till the evening. Bodies of 12 gang members killed during the fighting were seized.

More than 30 gang members were wounded and one BMB-type military vehicle was destroyed during the clashes.

In the meantime, Manbij Military Council Press and Communication Centre denied the reports that the Turkish army has taken control over the villages of Korhiyok, Xalda and Olashli.
