YPG/YPJ fighters have liberated 6 more villages and 6 hamlets from ISIS gangs, and encircled the Siluk town completely.

In an operation launched last night, fighters of the YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defense Units) have liberated 5 villages and 6 hamlets to the south and north of the Siluk town.

Early this morning, Defense Units have also ended the ISIS occupation in the village of Kasasa.

While a large number of ISIS members were killed in the ongoing operation around Siluk, a large quantity of ammunition belonging to the gangs was also seized.

As a result of fighting going on in the area for three days now, YPG/YPJ forces have entirely encircled the Siluk town from the north and south.
