20 detained in ongoing political genocide operations

In Amed's Bismil district, 10 people including Bismil Municipal Council members have been taken into custody as a result of the raid operation which targeted many houses in several neighborhoods. The detainees were taken to the District Police Directorate.

In Amed's Dicle district, DBP district former co-chair Filiz Akgül, her husband Veysel Akgül and DBP district former administrator Yaşar Ektert were detained by police in district center.
It is reported that the three people were sought within the scope of the case file prepared against 11 people who had been detained in house raids in the district on July 25, including Dicle co-mayor Zülfiye Kişmir.

Detainees are being held at district police directorate.

In Amed's Hazro district, police forces raided the house of former co-chair of DBP Hazro organisation, Ahmet Sırlaç. While Sırlaç was not found home, police left the house after a detailed search.

Four people were taken into custody as a result of house raids in Murat neighborhood in Ağrı city center. The detainees were taken to provincial police directorate.

BİTLİS

Four Kurdish politicians were detained by police performing ID check on the road between Tatvan and Adilcevaz districts of Bitlis.

Adilcevaz general assembly member Necmettin Arıkbaşlı, district co-chair Erhan Koçaklı, HDP district administrators Maşallah Keserci and Abdulkadir Toro were detained during the ID check.

The four politicians were taken to Ahlat district police directorate.
