Syriac and Armenian civilians rescued in Raqqa

Syriac Military Council (MFS) fighters under the SDF have rescued 7 Syriac and Armenian civilians from ISIS. The civilians are unharmed.

As the operation launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces on June 6 to liberate Raqqa reached the inner neighborhoods of the city, rescue of civilians held hostage as human shields by ISIS has accelerated.

7 civilians were removed from the clash zones through a corridor opened by the SDF fighters and were taken to safe zones by the Syriac Military Council fighters.

The Syriac Military Council (MFS) posted footage of rescued Syriacs and Armenians on their Twitter account.
