Two HPG guerrillas murdered whilst trying to stop clashes in Shengal

Two HPG guerrillas were murdered whilst trying to stop clashes after the attack of KDP forces in Shengal.

KDP-affiliated armed groups launched an attack on Shengal's Khanesor tow with heavy weaponry on March 3. Shengal/Women's Defense Units (YBŞ/YJŞ) took precautions and made efforts in order that the conflict does not escalate.

In order to hinder clashes, HPG guerrillas Çekdar Sînan (Newroz Guvercîn) and Orhan Baran (Sîpan Hemo) rushed to the scene and tried to stop armored vehicles, standing in front of an armored vehicle without using their arms even. The two guerrillas lost their lives as result of fire opened from armored vehicles, which was captured by ANF reporters on the ground.

YBŞ/YJŞ Command announced in yesterday's press statement about the developments that two HPG guerrillas had died whilst trying to stop the clashes.
